Pullman East Melbourne

The Brief

The Approach

The Outcome

Following Pullman East Melbourne's rebrand from Pullman Melbourne on the Park, the hotel needed content that re-established its identity under the new name, with a specific focus on location: proximity to the CBD, Melbourne Park, and Fitzroy Gardens. The brief called for a visual language built on contrast, the interplay of light and shadow across day and night, paired with warmth, texture, and unexpected framing across the hotel's key spaces.

The film was built around a day-to-night narrative arc, tracking natural light as it shifts from crisp daylight through golden hour into moody, intimate night. Each space - lobby, William Clarke Sky Villa, and surrounding location - was treated with its own lighting logic, always returning to warmth as the emotional throughline: a bedside lamp, a curtain opened to the skyline, golden light spilling into a room at sunset.

The result is a hero brand reel that positions Pullman East Melbourne as both premium and deeply located, grounding the rebrand not just in a new name, but in a renewed sense of place. The film balances polish with intimacy, giving the property a visual identity that feels alive rather than staged.
